Starting from her home office in 2012, Brenda took a gamble on herself, leaving her corporate job at FedEx to become her own self-employed freight broker. Talking about her career, she said: “I was going broke at FedEx because their structure for
commission was almost impossible to reach and their base pay was incredibly low. Not only that, I just didn’t fit in with their corporate culture” Upon deciding it was time to quit FedEx, Brenda was introduced to Michele & Vicky where she
remarked: “I work on intention a lot, and I knew instantly after meeting them it was a good fit. They are not just impeccable
businesswomen, they’re also in tune with the more personal side of life, which I really value” Brenda began her agency with
no start-up capital & no savings, stating:

Talking about her experience with PEI, she elaborated: “They want us to grow, they’re not just taking our money. They are as much invested in the agencies as the agencies are in themselves.” “Most corporates do not offer the programs & software that PEI offers. Most others make you pay up front for them yourself or through a subscription. PEI does
not do this” Looking to her future aims & ambitions, she said: “In five years, I’d like to be between $5M–$6M in revenue and have 1 or 2 new employees that fit my culture and values.”
